Removal And Installation: Installation

- Position the belt tensioner (1a) and tighten the fastener (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Visually inspect the serpentine belt to pulley alignment.
- Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Start the engine and allow to run at idle momentarily. Shut the engine off and reinspect the belt alignment.
