Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the idler pulley (3) and tighten the bolt to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  2. Install the accessory drive belt (5) by positioning the belt over all of the pulleys with the exception of the tensioner pulley (7).
  3. Rotate the center bolt of the tensioner pulley (7) counterclockwise, install the accessory drive belt (5) on the tensioner pulley (7) and slowly release the tensioner.
  4. Visually inspect the belt to pulley alignment.
  5. Start the engine and allow to run at idle momentarily. Shut the engine off and reinspect the belt alignment.
  6. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
