Removal And Installation: Front: Installation

  1. With a suitable jack raise the rear suspension to the proper specification. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. Position the front lower control arm into the vehicle.
  3. Install the front lower control arm to crossmember bolt (1).
  4. Install a NEW  front lower control arm to knuckle bolt (2).
  5. Tighten the front lower control arm to crossmember bolt (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Tighten the NEW  front lower control arm to knuckle bolt (2) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  9. Perform a wheel alignment. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
