Removal And Installation: Installation

- If removed, install the bracket (1c), washer (1b) and fastener (1a) onto the hitch (1d).
- Install the hitch (3b) and upper mounting fasteners (3a).
- Install the lower mounting washers (2b) and fasteners (2a).
- Install the side mounting washers (1b) and fasteners (1a).
- Tighten the fasteners to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the rear fascia. Refer to FASCIA, REAR, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
