Removal And Installation: Installation

- Using NEW gaskets, install the intake manifold and using the sequence shown, tighten the fasteners to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the intake manifold support bracket nuts and securely tighten.
- Install the intake manifold lower support bracket bolt and securely tighten.
- Install the intake manifold silencer cover and securely tighten the four screws.
- Install the fuel rail and fuel injectors. Refer to INJECTOR(S), FUEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the coolant hoses (2) to the heater.
- Using NEW gasket seals, connect the A/C lines and securely tighten the nuts.
- Attach the A/C lines into retaining clip and close the clip.
- Install the fuel vapor solenoid and connect the wire harness connector.
- Connect the fuel vapor hose quick connect fitting.
- Install the sound absorbing panel.
- Install the fuel vapor hose and connect the fuel vapor hose quick connect fitting.
- Connect the fuel vapor hose quick connect fitting and close the retaining clip.
- Evacuate the refrigerant system. Refer to R-1234YF REFRIGERANT SYSTEM EVACUATE .
- Charge the refrigerant system. Refer to R-1234YF REFRIGERANT SYSTEM CHARGE .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE COOLING SYSTEM - 2.4L .
- Install the throttle body. Refer to THROTTLE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the cylinder head cover. Refer to COVER(S), CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
