Removal And Installation: Installation

- Position the clean air hose (1) between the forward edge of the cowl and the cylinder head cover while engaging the hose to the throttle body intake.
- Install the bolt (4) that secures the clean air hose to the cylinder head cover and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the CLICE® type clamp (3) at the throttle body inlet using (special tool #10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp).
- Install the make up air hose (5) to the clean air hose (1).
- Connect and lock the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector (2).
- Install the air cleaner (1) into the air cleaner body, if removed.
- Seat the air cleaner body cover onto the air cleaner body and tighten the three screws (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the engine cover
Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
