Removal - Rear Fuel Delivery Line - 1.3L

  1. Perform the fuel pressure release procedure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  .
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION, REMOVAL .

  3. Lift the floor covering to access and remove the screws (1) that secure the fuel pump and vent tube access covers to the floor panel and remove the access cover.

  4. Disconnect the fuel pump wire harness connector (1).
  5. Disconnect the rear fuel supply line quick coupling (2).

  6. Disconnect the rear vent tube quick coupling (1).
  7. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  8. Remove the right side belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL .

  9. Remove the bolts (1) and the front and rear fuel line shields.

  10. Disconnect the rear fuel delivery tube front quick coupling (1).

  11. Disengage the fuel supply line (1) from the retaining clips.

  12. Remove the serrated fuel tank heat shield retaining washer (1).

  13. Place a suitable hydraulic lift to support the fuel tank, then remove the bolts from the front tank mounting brackets.

  14. Remove the bolts (1) from the rear tank mounting brackets.

  15. Lower the fuel tank and release the fuel line from the retaining clips (1) and remove the line.
