Sunroof, Single Pane: Removal
NOTE:
After installation the sunroof motor will need to be re- initialized.
NOTE:
For exploded view and call outs. Refer to SUNROOF, SINGLE PANE, DESCRIPTION .
- Move glass panel (1) to the fully closed position.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the four drain tubes from sunroof housing.
- Disconnect the sunroof wire harness electrical connector.
- Loosen fasteners attaching sunroof assembly.
- With the help of an assistant, support the sunroof and remove the fasteners attaching sunroof assembly to roof panel.
- Remove the sunroof assembly from vehicle, through the liftgate opening.
