The PCM monitors the values of the EGR Outlet Temperature Sensor and the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Out Temperature Sensor. This is done during a calibrated amount of engine-off time. If the PCM determines the EGR Outlet Temperature Sensor Signal is above or below a calibrated threshold for 3.0 seconds or the difference between the two Sensors exceeds a calibrated threshold correlation for 0.1 seconds, this fault will set. This is a two Trip Fault.
