The PM Sensor reports that the regeneration procedure did not transition back into measurement mode within a calibrated number of times. If the PCM detects that the failure is present for 7.0 seconds, it will illuminate the Malfunction Illumination Lamp (MIL) and set the DTC. This is a two Trip Fault.
