Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE PCM DTC

Ignition on, engine not running.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the status Active for this DTC?

Yes
- Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), REMOVAL .
- Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT DTC .
