CROSSMEMBER, Radiator: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the front skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, FRONT REMOVAL .
- Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Loosen the clamp (1) and remove the right side CAC hose from the resonator (2).
- Loosen the clamps (1) and remove the left side CAC hose (2).NOTE:
Right side shown, left side similar.
- If equipped, detach both the headlight washer hose retainers (1) from radiator crossmember.
- Remove the right and left front fender closeout panels.
- Remove the bolts (2) and position aside the coolant recovery bottle (1).
- Remove the right and left horns. Refer to HORN, REMOVAL .
- Remove the bolts and the right and left radiator crossmember support bars.
- Remove the hood latch. Refer to LATCH, HOOD, REMOVAL .
- Remove the push pin retainer (1) and the ambient temperature sensor (2).
- Remove the left side radiator closeout panel.
- Remove the right side radiator closeout panel.
- Remove the nut (3) securing the A/C line to the radiator crossmember.
- Remove the push pin retainer (2) securing the windshield washer bottle (1) to the radiator crossmember.
- Remove the bolts (1) and the radiator crossmember (2).
