Horn System (Service Information): Horn: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the radiator grille from the vehicle. Refer to GRILLE, REMOVAL .
3. Disconnect the Front End Module (FEM) wire harness connectors (3) from the terminals on the horn (2).
4. Remove the screw (1) that secures the horn mounting bracket to the forward-facing surface of the upper radiator cross member.
5. Remove the horn and mounting bracket from the vehicle as a unit.
