Diagnosis And Testing - Power Lumbar Switch

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the power lumbar support switch from the seat. Refer to SWITCH, LUMBAR CONTROL, REMOVAL .
- Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power lumbar support switch in the positions shown in the illustration, using the following table. If not OK, replace the inoperative power lumbar support switch. If switch tests OK, check for an open or short in the power lumbar support circuit wiring. If no open or short is found, replace the power lumbar support adjuster motor(s) as required.
