Reservoir, Brake Master Cylinder: Removal

- Remove the brake master cylinder and brake master cylinder reservoir assembly. Refer to MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE, REMOVAL .
- Thoroughly clean all surfaces of brake fluid reservoir (1) and master cylinder (3). Use only Mopar® Brake Parts Cleaner or equivalent.CAUTION:
When removing fluid reservoir from the master cylinder, do not pry off using any type of tool. This can damage the fluid reservoir or master cylinder housing.
- Using the appropriate tool, remove the two brake fluid reservoir bolts (4).
- Rock the brake fluid reservoir (1) side-to-side while pulling up to remove it from the seal grommets in master cylinder housing (3).
