Section 61 (Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information)): Amplifier: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL .

  3. If equipped, remove the automatic headlamp leveling module. Refer to MODULE, HEADLAMP LEVELING (HLM), REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the four amplifier (2) screws (3).
  5. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (2) from the amplifier.
  6. Remove the amplifier.
