2.2L Diesel

  1. Install the crankcase vent heater hose (1) onto turbocharger (2) inlet.

  2. Attach the wire connector (2) to the crankcase breather tube (5).
  3. Connect the crankcase vent heater wire harness connector (1).
  4. Install the crankcase breather hose (4). Using the (special tool #10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp) to lock the clamp (3).
  5. Install the low pressure EGR air flow control valve. Refer to VALVE, EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) AIRFLOW CONTROL, INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service article .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
