Removal 2.2L

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the right front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the inlet air temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
  4. Remove the inlet air temperature sensor (2) from the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) inlet tube.
