Housing, HVAC: Installation: Housing-HVAC

  1. Position the HVAC housing assembly into the instrument panel support.
  2. Install the two nuts (1) and the two bolts (3) that secure the HVAC housing assembly to the center of instrument panel support and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the instrument panel wire harness connectors (2) to the HVAC wiring harness.
    NOTE:

    If the foam seal on the top of the HVAC housing is deformed or damaged, the seal must be replaced.

  4. Install the instrument panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT, INSTALLATION .
