Sensor, Temperature, In-Car: Installation

NOTE:

Take the proper precautions to protect the face of the steering column opening cover from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.

  1. Position the in-car temperature sensor (1) onto the steering column opening cover.
  2. Install the two screws (2) that secure the in-car temperature sensor to the steering column opening cover. Tighten the screws securely.
  3. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
