Indicator, Seat Belt Reminder (SBR): Installation

  1. Position the Seat Belt Reminder (SBR) indicator (3) to the overhead console (1) housing.
  2. Align the SBR indicator to the opening in the overhead console housing.
  3. Press the outboard ends of the SBR indicator firmly and evenly into the overhead console housing until the four spring clips are fully seated.
  4. Connect the overhead console wire harness connector (2) to the SBR indicator connector receptacle.
  5. If equipped, install the Ultrasonic and Antitilt Module (UAM) to the overhead console. Refer to MODULE, ULTRASONIC AND ANTI-TILT, INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the overhead console to the headliner. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
