Sunshade, Sunroof: Installation

Position the sunshade (1) into the left pivot bracket, then position the right end up and over the right pivot bracket (2).
Rotate the sunshade end into the right pivot bracket.

NOTE:
The sunshade retraction spring force is significant. Firmly hold onto the sunshade while securing the sunshade in the following steps.
Expose the plastic support runners (2) and guide them under the tabs (1) at each side of the opening.

Guide the sunshade fabric (1) under the flanges along the side rails (2) and pull the sunshade forward.

With the tension bar (2) pulled in front of the guides (1), roll the tension bar back.

With the tension bar (1) rolled over and positioned over the guides (2), complete rolling the beam over until it snaps into the guides fully.

Slide the guide bar (2) into the spring (1).
Rotate the guide bar up and snap it into place.

Pull out the pin (1) and release the tension on the traction spring.
Install the rear sunroof glass. Refer to GLASS, SUNROOF, REAR, INSTALLATION .
Connect a 12v power supply and verify the sunshade operation.
Install the drain trough.
Install the front sunroof glass. Refer to GLASS, SUNROOF, REAR, INSTALLATION .
Adjust the sunroof glass. Refer to GLASS, SUNROOF, REAR, ADJUSTMENTS .
Initialize sunroof motor refer to standard procedure. Refer to SUNROOF, DUAL PANE, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
