Cover, Rear Seat Back, 60%: Removal

- Remove the 60% rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT, REAR, REMOVAL .
- Remove the armrest. Refer to ARMREST, REAR, REMOVAL .
- Remove the center seat belt bolt (1).
- Using a trim tool, release the clips and remove the right side shield (1).
- Remove the screw (2), then lift the left side shield (1) and remove.
- Open the lower J-strip (2) and unzip (3) both sides of the seat back trim.
- Lift the seat back trim and unclip trim covers (1).
- Lift the seat back trim and remove the push fasteners (1).
- Remove the three screws (1) to loosen the armrest support.
- If equipped with seat back heat, unclip the wire harness (2) from the seat frame.
- If equipped with seat back heat, unclip (2) and disconnect the wire harness connector (3).
- Lift the handle (1), remove the screw then the fold flat handle bezel (2).
- Carefully loosen the small J-strips (1) around the handle opening.
- Remove the screws (1), then the seat belt trim cover (2).
- Using a trim tool (1), carefully remove the headrest sleeves (2).
- Remove the inner armrest trim cover (1).
- Remove the seat back cover and the seat back foam as an assembly, from the seat back frame.
- If necessary to remove the inner side shields (2), remove the screw (1) and the inner side shield.
- With the seat back cover on a bench, remove the six push fasteners (1 and 3), the J-strips (2), then remove the armrest support (4).
- Pull the seat back cover (2) away from the seat back foam, releasing the hook and loop fasteners.
- Cut all the hog rings (1) and remove the rear seat back cover.
