Seat, Rear: Removal

NOTE:

The 40% seat can be removed without removing the 60% seat. If the 60% seat is to be remove, the 40% seat must be removed first.

Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to SEATS, REAR, WARNING .
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Position the 40% seat in the full rearward position.

Remove the bolt cover (1), then remove the seat bolt (2).

Remove the bolt cover (4), then remove the four screws (2) and the trim cover (3).
Remove the seat bolts (1).

Using a proper sized drill, remove the rivet (2) to separate the 40% seat (1) and 60% seat (3).
NOTE:
A new rivet will need to be installed during seat installation.

Position the seats to the full forward position and fold the seat backs forward.
If equipped, disconnect the wire harness connector (2) for the side being serviced.
NOTE:
If servicing the 60% seat, disconnect all wire harness connectors.
Remove the bolt (4) that fastens the rear of the seat tracks together.
Remove the seat nuts (1) for the side being serviced.
NOTE:
If servicing the 60% seat, remove all the rear seat nuts.
Remove the 40% rear seat (5).
If necessary, remove the 60% rear seat (3).
