Cable, Release, Fold Flat: Removal

NOTE:

60% rear seat shown, similar procedure for 40% rear seat cable assembly.

  1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to SEATS, REAR, WARNING .
  2. Remove the seat back cover. Refer to COVER, REAR SEAT BACK, 60%, REMOVAL .
    NOTE:

    It is not necessary to completely remove the cover from the cushion.

  3. Remove the cable (1) from the frame and mechanism.

  4. Unclip the cable from the seat frame.
  5. Remove the screws at the top of the handle (1) and remove the cable assembly.
