Grille, Lower: Removal

  1. If equipped, remove the fog lamps. Refer to LAMP, FOG, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the front fascia and place on a workbench. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
  3. If equipped, remove the active grille shutter Refer to GRILLE, ACTIVE SHUTTER, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the four screws (2) securing the energy absorber (1) to the fascia.
  5. Remove the four clips (3) securing the energy absorber (1) to the fascia.
  6. Remove the energy absorber (1) from the fascia.

  7. Remove the 12 clips (2) securing the lower grille assembly (1) to the fascia.
  8. Remove the two screws (3) securing the grille assembly (3) to the fascia.

  9. Release the 10 fascia retaining tabs (1) and remove the lower grille assembly (2) from the fascia.

  10. Remove the six retaining clips (3) securing the grille bezel (1) to the lower grille (2).

  11. Release the twelve grille bezel retaining tabs (2) and separate the bezel (3) from the lower grille (1).
