Latch, Door: Removal

Remove the rear door carrier plate (2). Refer to PLATE, CARRIER, REMOVAL .

Disconnect the wire harness connector (1).
With the use of a small flat bladed tool or equivalent, gently pry tab (3) and slide the latch (2) off of the presenter bracket.

NOTE:

Front door latch shown, rear door latch similar.

Release the latch cover tabs (3) and remove the latch cover.

Disconnect handle and lock cables (1) and remove the latch assembly (2).
