Hinge, Door: Removal

NOTE:

Do not reuse the door half hinge to body side half hinge fasteners (2) and (4), replace with new readily available through Mopar parts.

NOTE:

Driver side door shown, passenger side similar.

Remove the door-

Remove the door, Refer to DOOR, REMOVAL .

Body side hinge half-

NOTE:

Upper and lower hinge halves are serviced exactly the same

Mark position of the hinge half (2) and/or lower hinge on the upper A-pillar and lower A-pillar with a grease pencil or other suitable device to ease installation.
Remove bolts (1) attaching hinge to door the upper A-pillar and/or lower A-pillar frame and remove the hinge.

Door side hinge half-

NOTE:

Upper and lower hinge halves are serviced exactly the same

Mark position of upper hinge (1) and/or lower hinge on the upper door and/or lower door with a grease pencil or other suitable device to ease installation.
Remove bolt (2) attaching hinge to the upper door and/or the lower door and remove the hinge.
