Door - Front: Door: Removal

NOTE:
Do not reuse the door half hinge to body side half hinge fasteners (2) and (4), replace with new, readily available through Mopar parts.
NOTE:
Driver side door shown, passenger side similar.
- Open and support the door on a suitable lifting device.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the fastener securing the door check strap (1).
- Remove the fastener (2) securing the upper door hinges half to the A-pillar hinge half.
- Remove the fastener (4) securing the lower door hinge half to the A-pillar half.
- With the use a suitable lifting device, remove the door from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the front door harness wire connector (3) from the body harness.
