Handle, Exterior: Removal

NOTE:

Passenger side doors not equipped with a lock cylinder. Refer to HANDLE, EXTERIOR, REMOVAL .

With a small flat bladed tool, remove the outside handle access plug from inner door jamb.
Using a T25 torx driver (1), turn the screw (2) counter clockwise to move the slide plate (3) rearward in the outside door handle bracket (4). Carefully loosen the screw (2) while lightly pulling on the door handle cap.

Lift the exterior door handle (3) outward.
Continue holding the exterior handle out and remove the door handle cap and lock cylinder (2).

Slide the exterior door handle (1) rearward and rotate out of the door.
If so equipped, disconnect the wiring connector.
