DECKLID / Hatch / Liftgate / Tailgate / Swing Gate: Spoiler: Installation

NOTE:
When the spoiler is removed for repair or replacement, the gaskets at the spoiler attachment locations should be replaced.
NOTE:
The following components are serviceable on the rear spoiler
- CHMSL
- Washer Nozzle
- Spoiler center support bracket
- W-attaching clip and seals
- Seal kit for attaching locations
- Mounting Studs
- Mounting Nuts
- Lift spoiler (1) into place and pivot towards the front of the vehicle.
- Connect the washer hose to the washer nozzle. Connect the wiring connector to the CHMSL. Install wiring clips (2 total).
- Lower spoiler into position.
- Install the bolts (1) and tighten 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
- Install the six nuts (3) and tighten 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.). Start in the center and work your way out to the ends when tightening the nuts.
- Install both of the liftgate pinch sensors. Refer to SENSOR, PINCH, INSTALLATION .
- Install the liftgate trim panels. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, INSTALLATION .
