Lamp, Center High Mounted Stop: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear spoiler from the vehicle. Refer to SPOILER, REMOVAL .
  3. Working from the back of the rear spoiler, remove the support bracket (2), the washer nozzle hose from the nozzle and the washer nozzle itself (3).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connection (4) from the back of the CHMSL assembly.
  5. Remove five screws (5) that secure the CHMSL to the spoiler assembly.
  6. Remove the CHMSL assembly from the spoiler.
