Lamp, Center High Mounted Stop: Installation

  1. Position the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) into the rear spoiler for installation.
  2. Secure the CHMSL to the rear spoiler using the provided fasteners (1). Secure the center bolts first and then the outer bolts last.
  3. Connect the body electrical connector to the receptacle (4) on the back of the CHMSL.
  4. Install the bracket (2) to the CHMSL.
  5. Install the washer nozzle (3) to the CHMSL.
  6. Route the washer fluid tube and seat into position on the CHMSL.
  7. Install the rear spoiler to the vehicle. Refer to SPOILER, INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
