Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan too, select View PCM DTCs.
  Is the DTC Active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
LOST COMMUNICATION WITH BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) ALSO ACTIVE IN OTHER MODULES
1. With the scan too, select View DTCs.
  Are any other modules reporting any lost message or lost communication faults against the BCM?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Body Control Module (BCM) in accordance with the service information.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, REMOVAL .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
