Rail, Fuel: Removal: 2.4L

WARNING:
Risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel. Wear protective clothing and eye protection. Risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel. Pour fuel only into appropriately marked and approved containers. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
NOTE:
Wrap shop towels around hose to catch any gasoline spillage.
- Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
- Remove engine cover.
- Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail. Refer to FITTING, QUICK CONNECT .
- Unlock and disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
- Remove the wiring harness from the fuel rail studs.
- Remove the 2 bolts from the fuel rail at the lower manifold.
- Remove the fuel rail and injectors from the intake manifold.
- Remove fuel injector clip holding fuel injector to fuel rail.
- Remove fuel injectors from fuel rail.
