When Monitored: Ignition on, during the heated seat operation.
Set Condition: This code is set immediately after the Heated Seat Module detects the control circuit shorted to ground.

Possible Causes

(P188) LEFT SEAT HEATER B(+) DRIVER SHORTED TO GROUND

SEAT HEATER ELEMENT PIGTAIL HARNESS SHORTED

SEAT CUSHION HEATER ELEMENT SHORTED

SEAT BACK HEATER ELEMENT SHORTED

HEATED SEAT MODULE
