Removal - Right Side

- Remove the air box (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER ELEMENT - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the two cruise control servo mounting nuts.
- Remove the upper shock mounting nuts.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the right side tire assembly.
- Remove the lower bolt at the lower control securing the clevis bracket.
- Remove the stabilizer link (Refer to SUSPENSION/FRONT/STABILIZER LINK - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the lower ball joint nut.
- Separate the lower ball joint from the lower control arm using tool C-4150A.
- Rotate the lower control arm downward to allow access.
- Remove the clevis bracket at the shock. See Fig 1
- Remove the shock assembly from the vehicle. See Fig 1
- Remove the spring from the shock (if needed). (Refer to SUSPENSION/FRONT/SPRING - REMOVAL) .
