Exterior Handle: Removal

Remove the trim panel and waterdam as necessary to gain access to the handle. (Refer to BODY/SWING GATE/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL) .
Disconnect the lock switch and flip-up glass release electrical connectors.
Unclip the threaded clips and disconnect the actuator rods.
Remove the screws. See Fig 1.
Remove the nuts and remove the handle.
