Latch Release Cable: Removal

  1. Remove the battery. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - REMOVAL) .
  2. Remove the hood latch. (Refer to BODY/HOOD/LATCH - REMOVAL) .
  3. Remove the powertrain control module. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES/POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE - REMOVAL) .
  4. Remove the hood release handle. (Refer to BODY/HOOD/LATCH RELEASE HANDLE - REMOVAL) .
  5. Disconnect the attaching clips and remove the cable from the inside.
