Front Fender: Removal

- Remove the wheel opening splash shield. (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/FRONT WHEELHOUSE SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the grille. (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/GRILLE - REMOVAL) .
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Release the inner support clips from within the fascia between the lights. See Fig 1.
1 - INNER SUPPORT CLIP 2 - SIDE REPEATER CONNECTOR (IF EQUIPPED) 3 - FASCIA ASSEMBLY 4 - FOG LAMP - Release the support tabs beneath the headlamps and position the fascia assembly aside to access the fender support bracket bolts. See Fig 2.
1 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR 2 - PUSH PINS 3 - FRONT FASCIA ASSEMBLY 4 - LOWER SCREWS 5 - PLASTIC RIVETS (2) 6 - INNER SUPPORT CLIPS 7 - SUPPORT TABS - Remove the front wheel opening flare moldings. (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/FRONT WHEEL OPENING FLARE MOLDINGS - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the fender support bracket bolts. See Fig 3.
- Remove the bolts and remove the fender. See Fig 4.
- Remove the antenna body, if equipped. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/ANTENNA BODY & CABLE - REMOVAL) .
