Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
- Turn wheel as necessary to gain access to fasteners.
- Remove the four rivets connecting the flare to the splash shield
- Remove the rivet connecting the splash shield to the side sill molding.
- Remove the three screw/rivets connecting the splash shield to the fascia.
- Remove the four push pin fasteners and remove the splash shield. See Fig 1.
