Oil Cooler: Removal

1 - WATER PUMP AND HOUSING ASSEMBLY
2 - COOLANT HOSE
3 - ENGINE OIL COOLER
4 - GASKET
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system.
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL) .
  4. Remove the coolant reservoir and hoses.
  5. Remove the charge air cooler hose between turbocharger and cooler.
  6. Remove the lower radiator hose at the water pump housing assembly.
  7. Remove the water pump housing assembly. See Fig 1.
  8. Remove the engine oil cooler. See Fig 1.
