Brakes - Base: Lever: Removal

Remove the center floor console, (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/FLOOR CONSOLE - REMOVAL) .
Lock out the parking brakes. See Fig 1. (Refer to BRAKES/PARKING BRAKE - ADJUSTMENTS) .

1 - PARK BRAKE LEVER ASSEMBLY

2 - EQUALIZER
Disengage the front cables from the equalizer (2). See Fig 2.
Disconnect the parking brake lamp switch wire. See Fig 2.
Remove the parking brake lever assembly (1) mounting bolts. See Figure.
Remove the lever assembly (1).
