Air Bag System Diagnostic Module (ASDM): Installation

  1. Install ASDM with arrow pointing toward front of vehicle. Connect wiring connectors. Ensure connectors are locked into position.
  2. Install module with NEW screws and tighten to 50-60 INCH Lbs. (5.5-6.8 N.m). Use only screws supplied with new ASDM. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT connect negative battery cable at this time. Perform system operation check to ensure system is functioning properly. See TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  .
