Installation (Dakota 2WD)

To install, reverse removal procedure. Before installing oil pan, apply RTV sealant where front cover contacts cylinder block, oil pan side gaskets meet end seals, and end seals contact cylinder block. See Fig 1. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
