Installation (Ram Van/Wagon)

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install engine with oil pan and oil pump removed. Before installing oil pan, place a small amount of RTV sealant at corners where side and front oil pan gaskets meet.
  2. Tighten the bolts/nuts to specification. Refer to, at the end of this article, TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . On A/T models, ensure reference marks on torque converter and flexplate are aligned. Evacuate and charge A/C system.
