SEATBELT System (G1818070): Overview

A three point seatbelt is installed for each seat. A pretensioner is incorporated into the retractor of each seatbelt.

The center rear safety belt features a mini-buckle lower anchorage. The mini-buckle is disengaged by inserting a suitable tool into the small aperture on the front face of the housing.

To aid the installation of child seats, 3 tethers are located on the rear parcel shelf.

A seatbelt reminder and a beltminder system warn the driver if the seatbelt of an occupied front seat is not fastened, or if a seatbelt is unfastened during the journey.
