Dosing Module Test |
This cluster of routines tests:
- The pattern of DEF
injected from the dosing module as there is often a build-up of residue around the actual injector
- The Dynamic Behavior - Tests the quantity of DEF
delivered with the injector opened for a given period of time
- The Static Diesel Exhaust Fluid Dosing Quantity - This routine tests the quantity of DEF
delivered against an expected value
- Flushes the Dosing module (DEF
Injector) to remove any crystallization or contamination

| Diesel exhaust fluid prime and pressure test |
- Selective catalyst reduction system end of line first fill and pressure test routine. This routine will prime and test the system
- This routine attempts to pressurize the system to 6 bar/87 psi. If it does not achieve this pressure within a predetermine time it may open the dosing module slightly to release any air from the system. This routine should not be used as a diagnostic function for testing the dosing module
