Exhaust Rear Section - Vehicles With 163 And 180 PS Engines
The exhaust rear section has a single rear silencer.
The exhaust rear section is connected by a pipe to the exhaust center section and is secured with a clamp.
The exhaust rear section is supported with 2 hanger brackets. A hanger bracket forward and an other rearward of the rear silencer. Each is connected to a mounting rubber and bracket. A hanger bracket is welded on the side of the rear subframe, the other is bolted to the vehicle body.
The rear silencer has 2 mass dampers installed. A mass damper forward of the rear silencer secured to a bracket on the inlet pipe the other secured to a bracket attached to the rear silencer assembly.
The exhaust gases are expelled from the rear silencer via 1 outlet pipe. The outlet pipe is curved downwards to direct exhaust gases away from the rear of the vehicle.
