Pinpoint Test D: Heating And Cooling - Heat Or Cool Operation Slow

D1: VERIFY THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN
1. Confirm if the customers concern is intermittent after a cold engine start-up or extremely cold conditions
  Does the concern occur after a cold start-up or during extremely cold conditions?
  
  Yes
  
  This is a feature operation of the system to preserve and assist the battery charging after cold start or during extremely cold conditions, due to the smart charging feature the system will resume normal operation after the recovery of the charging system. The symptom can also be first noticed in the rear climate seats (if installed) then the front passenger seat and then the drivers seat, this is also a system feature to assist with the drivers concentration and comfort. No further action required, refer the customer to Jaguar Land Rover owner information for Climate Seats and review the system operation with the customer.

D2: DRIVER OR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BACKREST AND SEAT BASE CLIMATE ASSEMBLY - EFFICIENCY
1. Compare the efficiency of the seat backrest and seat base climate seat assembly to another climate seat assembly
  Is the efficiency equal between the two seats?
  
  Yes
  
  The efficiency is standard and comparable to the design intent, refer the customer to Jaguar Land Rover owner information for Climate Seats and review the system operation with the customer.
  
  No
  
  GO to D3.
D3: DRIVER OR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BACKREST AND SEAT BASE CLIMATE ASSEMBLY - EFFICIENCY
1. Compare the efficiency between the seat backrest and the seat base.
  Is the seat backrest and seat base affected by the same slow operation?
  
  Yes
  
  GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
  
  No
  
  GO to D4.
D4: DRIVER OR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BACKREST CLIMATE ASSEMBLY - EFFICIENCY
1. Confirm if the concern is only with the seat backrest.
  Is the seat backrest only affected by the same slow operation?
  
  Yes
  
  GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
  
  No
  
  GO to D5.
D5: CHECK FOR STORED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE(S)
1. Check the HVAC for stored DTC s
  Are there any stored DTC s?
  
  Yes
